The Large Western Production Company offers a challenging position in its global SAP department (Centre of Excellence) of Product Cost Expert (FI\CO)
Responsibilities:
• Application Maintenance and Support - Provide application support for both Production and Development environments
• Projects - The role includes involvement in projects either as a team member or as the project manager for small scale projects and enhancements. When participating in a Project Team as a team member, responsibilities include:• Design of business processes.• Configuration and configuration coordination with external parties, unit testing, integration and regression testing• Documentation.• Definition and roll out of standards and templates.• Potentially participate in training business community (key users).• Ensure transfer of knowledge/expertise from external consultants.
When acting as a project manager, the role includes identifying tasks and activities, setting milestones, organizing resources, estimating and applying timelines and identifying risks together with risk mitigation.
• System integration - Implement appropriate interface/data transfer processes and programs from satellite applications to the main application, together with the technical specialist (SAP Basis for example) and the development teams
• Business Process Design and Evolution - expert input into the design, specification, testing and implementing of new business sub-processes or process changes


Requirements:
• Configuration experience in SAP CO-PC or in FI/CO/APO/P2P
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience in accounting and finance areas and in implementation projects. Experience in GSC finance would be beneficial
• ACCA/CIMA or SAP certification in FI/CO
• Deep knowledge of processes and systems associated with standard cost calculation, inventory revaluation, Material Ledger closing, Product Cost variance calculation
• Knowledge and previous experience of application testing, test procedures and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of internal support processes and message handling procedures including message escalation.
• Knowledge of the project management processes, particularly from previous projects that concern the CO-PC application modules/processes.
• Knowledge of designing and implementing business processes.• Knowledge of defining and rolling out standards and templates
• Familiar with business process change management including implementation, testing and verification of change requests.
• The ability to work effectively in a diversified team under pressure situations
• Strong analytical skills
• Deep understanding of Supply Chain processes, preferably on a global scale
