SAP ABAP Developer (SD & MM modules)

Job Role
Perform full range of support and development activities in the area of ABAP for our Sony Electronics branch in Moscow, focusing on the SD and MM modules.

Job Responsibilities
Working with the SD/MM Designer on implementation of technical solutions for the SAP SD/MM applications
Taking responsibility for development requests from the end of Functional Design through Development, all stages of testing, Go-Live and eventual on-going support
Resolve incoming Production SAP support calls
Consider system performance and possibilities for standardisation when developing solutions
Adhere to SOX guidelines by following the established development and test procedures
Maintain quality Technical Specifications and update documentation repository
Work closely with the designer to identify possible improvements to existing solution and suggest appropriate designs
Liaise with designer and provide accurate estimate of work involved
Provide guidance to solution designers to ensure that thorough testing is carried out
Adhere to existing processes and procedures

Shows broad understanding of ABAP as it relates to SAP SD/MM and acts as key source of expertise in this field. Maintains and regularly updates knowledge of processes, products and best practice principles in own area. Able to identify appropriate technical solutions. Must have a good understanding of key system design principles (documentation, testing, Change Request procedure, SDLC, etc.).

Helps the Designer to understand and define their requirements. Considers situation from customer perspective and tailors communication accordingly. Sensitive to customer satisfaction, always looks for ways of improving level of service.

Experience & Specific Job Requirements
2+ years of ABAP experience specific to SAP SD/MM modules including analysis, design, development, testing, compliance & implementation (ideally project experience)
Key expertise in the areas of developing Reports, SAPSCRIPT, Interfaces (outgoing, incoming), Conversions (data migration), Extensions (Customisations, e.g. User Exits, RFC development, BAPI’s), Idocs, ALE/EDI.
A reasonable broad functional understanding of SAP SD/MM
Experience in the following areas is a plus:
- Business Warehouse
- Smartforms
- Workflow

Excellent communication skills – ability to interpret business issues to provide solution
Ability to prioritise and escalate issues
Analytical mindset with an strong eagerness to learn
Speaks Russian fluently
Speaks English well

SAP PP/PI Application Analyst
PURPOSE
System Analysis, Participation in PP/PI implementation, maintenance of SAP PP/PI and related modules,
Maintenance of XI interfaces, Documentation and user support, work-out of reporting required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION - High School
YEAR EXPERIENCE - 4 - 7
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE - Extensive experience with SAP PP/PI, experience in FI/MM/CO is a plus, good knowledge of ABAP/4

Logistic InfoSystem Analyst

PURPOSE
Design and implementation of logistic related applications, interfaces, Databases administration and maintenance. Data exchange maintenance among various partners. Reporting. User support. Assistance to IT with implementation of new MM/SD processes in SAP R/3.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION - High School
YEAR EXPERIENCE - 4 - 7
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE - Knowledge of modern software development methods, application design patterns, Microsoft .NET development (C# or VB.NET), XML, web applications basics, Microsoft SQL Server. Basic knowledge of SAP MM/SD is a plus
